About The Book
The writing of this book took me 13 years and 2 months. The many tears of love that ran down my face. If there is no love there are no tears. The long hours sitting at the computer. Lots of times just rereading what I had written or staring at the blank screen. I knew it was essential to get my story out. Moms and dads need to know that what they are feeling is absolutely normal.
Chapter One
The last ten days
My daughter went into the hospital on December 8th and passed on the 18th. Those ten days, will be forever etched into my brain. I would gladly do it all again to have my daughter back just for one moment. The honesty of the Dr.P, in helping us deal with this sad, sad, sad ten days. The raw truth of what was happening. Watching my grandchildren dealing with a pain, that no five-and seven-year-old should deal with. Seeing my son-in-law, my son, and husband devastated as we observed Lorraine’s’ life diminish. All the emotions I felt and dealt with during her illness was nothing compared to the pain at the time of her death.

After a number of years, a friend asks me to go for a day of scrapbooking. It was a fund raiser for the heart and stroke. Thank God I went. I got back into doing what I love. I met many new friends. Soon I was joining other scrapbooking groups and have made a lot of wonderful new friends. I have taken on a large project, scrapbooking, the life and history of my and Ken’s families for each of my grandchildren.
